[The wedding was possibly the biggest celebration in the capitol since the king's coming of age, and for reason. The media had been in a 'will they, won't they' frenzy since King Hiccup proposed to his assistant and lover Jackson Overland Frost, but despite some protests from the older, more experienced Lords (or perhaps in retaliation), the wedding went off without a hitch. The actual wedding itself had been a private ceremony, only close friends and family, but the reception was huge.

The ballroom was filled with younger representatives of the lord's families, people they were one friendly terms with and who supported them. The newly wed couple left for a private island off the coast of the capitol late in the night, under the cover of darkness to avoid being photographed by anyone other than Hiccup's PR team, who would make sure that photographs and videos of the wedding would reach the network by morning under their own terms.

The door to the large house nestled near the cliffside of the island overlooking the water was opened, Hiccup nudging it so with his shoulder since his arms were full of his newly wed husband.]

And here we are. Home sweet home for a whole month.

[Hiccup makes sure to drive his husband crazy, make him squirm until he has sand in places he never imagined. The sun beats down on them and he's sure he's become red with sunburn, but there's healing salves and sunscreen back at the house that he can use later.

He chuckles a little, nuzzling at Jack's cheek as he rolls over onto his side, curling around his lover.]

The sea it is. We'll be too busy having sex to notice any of the wildlife.

[There's sand everywhere, that's for sure, and he doesn't want to imagine what his usual pale skin will look like later. But for now he doesn't care, Jack is the happiest man in the world.

Chuckling back, he turns on his side a bit to cuddle Hiccup, a finger brushing his husband's arm up and down over and over, as if this little touch was fascinating (it is for him).]

Mmh, I guess we can take a break sometime and pretend to be interested in tourism or something. Like... there are horses, we can go riding.
