[The sleepy fishing town of Berk, Maine.

Nothing much to look at really, just a main street with a few shops before it veered off into the residence housing. Buildings that had been there for several generations were still standing, some in need of a paint job and some modern with all the technological trappings. There was a school - enough for the children that the town did have - a pub, a library. A port where fishing trawlers pulled in, and not much else.

The town had a rich history, many of the residents descended from the vikings that founded it. One such ancestry were witches. Many of the villagers had some claim to magic, even the crazy ones weren't really crazy (maybe just a little). In a house at the far back of the village, surrounded by a grove of trees, lived a witch named Hiccup.

The house was one his father had bought him when he came of magical age. It had missed puberty, an age where most either came into their magical inheritance or not, and for a long time they had thought that he was just a screw up in magic just like he was in life. Hiccup had wanted nothing more than to be accepted by the community, but the way he got there was not...exactly traditional.

He summoned a demon.

Hiccup's magic had spiked since then. The demon that he'd summoned had been one of the most dangerous ones, and he'd bonded it to himself. The whole reason why his father had bought him the house had been to get him and his demon out of his and out of his hair. He didn't hold a grudge though. Many of the villagers considered him out of sight out of mind, but a crotchety old man called Mildew was always saying that he'd attract trouble.

And that was exactly what happened.

Hunter after hunter came into town searching for the witch with the demon. The summoning had caused a spike to appear on the radar of nearly every supernatural hunter in America. Hiccup and the demon had had to fight off an abundance of hunters until they had made a name for themselves, becoming a formidable force of nature. Hunters hadn't come to town in a long time.

Until now.]

[The school was abuzz with gossip. People wondering how he'd done it, wondering if something was wrong with the cup or the headmaster for letting a teenager Hiccup's size into the tournament. He might have had a growth spurt over the summer that he'd spent in the muggle world with Jack, but he was still Hiccup. Even his fellow champions - a boy from Durmstrang named Dagur and a girl from Beauxbatons named Elsa - had looked at him oddly when he'd entered the room where the champions were being gathered for the rundown.

Hiccup's birthday was late February, meaning he was a year older than most of his peers in the sixth grade. Snotlout had already cornered him demanding how he'd stolen his moment of glory and a warm, heartfelt letter from his father saying how confused but proud he was of him had already sent Hiccup's mind reeling. He was sure that somewhere in the castle, students were placing bets on him being the first out of the first competition.

Not to mention the yule ball. Hiccup ran a hand through his hair as he tugged on his satchel, flashing a brief smile towards a girl wishing him good luck. He'd be expected to take a date, he couldn't just show up as a bachelor. He'd have to take Jack, even though he was sure neither of them were ready to come out of the closet, and in front of the school no less. A girl wasn't an option - he'd be entirely uncomfortable.

Giving a small sigh, he adjusted his satchel and continued on to the place he'd told Jack he would meet him at.]

[As soon as Dagur went down, Hiccup picked up the crossbow the other boy had been carrying and ran. Sprinted through the thick of the forest that served as the arena for the year's games like the hounds of Hel were on his heels and didn't look back over his shoulder even as the blood that had splattered on his face dried. He swallowed in gasps of air like he was gulping down water, trying to get as far away from this area as possible without stepping in range of the barrier.

It had been four days since the Hunger Games had started, almost a week since he'd left home in District 4. He remembered his name being called out, the wave of murmurs that had gone up from the crowd. Not even the mayor's son was safe from the Games, everyone knew, but for Hiccup to have actually been drawn from the lots...well, the laughter that had come up from his cousin and the twins in the crowd had said it all through the silence and solemness of it all. Hiccup the Useless? In the Games? He wouldn't last ten seconds.

He'd surprised everyone by achieving a 8 on his bid to impress the judges. Not nearly as impressive as the 10 his mother had garnered when she had been entered. It wasn't like he could live up to the name of Valhallarama Haddock. He'd lost sight of his district partner since the scatter at the Cornucopia, when he'd picked up his shield.

Dagur hadn't been a bad choice of an ally, but the Career was a bit mentally unhinged, always shouting and grinning madly at the idea of killing. Gods knew why Hiccup had caught his attention, but it worked, for a while. He was roped into the Career pack, until a girl from District 1 named Heather had decided to end the alliance. Dagur had chased Hiccup into the woods when he made a break for it, running right into one of the traps Hiccup had set up around their camp. A couple of bludgeons to the head with his heavy shield and Dagur was done.

Hiccup hadn't bothered to stick around and check on the rest of the Career Tributes.

He leaned against a tree, taking in a deep breath before he squared his shoulders and locked the crossbow onto his arm, holding it close. Listening for sounds, he leaned on the tree for what seemed like hours, crossbow locked and loaded, shoulders tense and eyes peeled for any sign of another Tribute.]

[Tsar Lunar had been a world renowned mechanical genius, albeit a bit of a madman. The man had kept himself alive, experimenting on himself and replacing parts of his body with robotic versions of his living organs that were slowly dying. A clockwork heart here, a copper limb there, disguised as fleshy as the remaining parts. Obsessed with living forever, the man kidnapped youth off the streets, promising them a better life than the one the world had given them to start with, then once he had their trust he took them down to his secret lab. Bionicle humans were in high demand in the black market, and kids that nobody would miss...well, he wouldn't be in trouble with the law.

Until the last head of police retired - a rich, corrupted man - and Stoick Haddock had stepped in.

Stoick was a man who wouldn't be swayed by a measly bit if silence money, even if he was only supporting his son, as his wife had died while the boy was young. The warrant to search Tsar Lunar's house from top to bottom wound up exposing his laboratory and experiments. Tsar Lunar was sentenced to execution by the chair, fittingly ironic all things considered, once his victims attested to his crimes. But he left a riddle, as his last words.

And so the world spun on.

Stoick's son, Hamish "Hiccup" Haddock was a brilliant young lad, with an intelligent mind for a boy from such a brutish family. Excellent in all his grades, he passed college at the tender age of seventeen and moved out on his own to begin his own field of work. Stark Industries had given him the opportunity to have an internship, with the access to everything that he needed.

Little did Stoick know, his son was following in the Tsar's footsteps. Hiccup began experimenting, finding old relics of synthetic androids like the ones the Tsar invented, and slowly became huge in the black market. People were paying top dollar for copper and brass robots the likes of which hadn't been seen since Tsar Lunar, with the prices going well into the millions. Hiccup invested in a small property on the outskirts of the city, built on top of a laboratory so that he may continue doing his work in peace.

For you see, Hiccup was obsessed with figuring out the madman's last words, the meaning behind them. And here he was, right now, in an uncharted area of the old man's abandoned lab, at the ripe young age of twenty three. Punching the numbers into the side panel - the Tsar had given them like start coordinates, confusing everyone who had ever tried...except for Hiccup.

The young man lifted his lantern, watching the panel before him slide back, dust that had collected over the years falling off in a floof of air, and he sucked in a breath, inhaling at the sight before him. An unfinished synthetic, looking to be about sixteen, white hair falling over his far. The glass cabinet made it look like he was Sleeping Beauty, and Hiccup pulled a ragged old cloth from his tool belt, wiping away the grime.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, breathtaking...he couldn't wait to hear him speak, if the Tsar's journals were to be believed.

Hiccup felt as though he'd just discovered Atlantis.]

④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.

⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.

⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.

⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!

② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.

⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?

⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.

⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.

⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.

① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.

② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.

③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.

④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?

⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.

⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?

⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.

⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.

⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.

⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.

⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.

⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.

⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.

⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.

⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.

⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.

⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.

⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.

⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.

⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

⑫ Suddenly a kid → You're a kid again! Have fun with that second childhood.

④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?

⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?

⑧ Rivals → you're suddenly rivals! Or maybe you have been all along...

⑨ Problems → you've got a problem with each other, just got in a huge fight, whatever. Try to work it out!

⑩ What are your intentions... → This person? They're dating a close friend, family member, etc. You need to find out if they're going to hurt them! Or you need to discuss your friend/family's dating choice.

⑪ I saw you → you saw the other person doing something bad and you need to confront them about it.

⑫ Sorry but no → the other person has feelings that you just don't share. They don't necessarily have to be romantic... maybe you just don't agree with their sudden desire to quit their job and start a business making tiny, fuzzy teddy bears.

⑬ My hero → you need to tell this person how much they mean to you. They've been your best friend or your role model your whole life and they need to know.

⑭ Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.
