you seem quite shy but you're oh, so cute ( for dragonconqueror )
[ No one quite knows what happened, but the fact remains everyone semi-blames Jack for it and he's almost inclined to agree. The snowglobes have been used with greater frequency since Hiccup awoke and Dave joined the Workshop, which means more and more are being stockpiled. Let's go watch, Jack suggested to his husband, it'll be interesting. It turns out that blowing snowflakes while flirting can be disastrous when a stray floats into the snowglobe directly in front of Hiccup, causing a reactive explosion that turns everything a riot of swirling colors and whoosing Stargate noises for the worst five seconds of Jack's life.
And then he finds himself staring at a short, furious-looking mini Hiccup, the same boy he first fell for and vastly different from the imposing figure cut by the Dragon Prince. Hiccup is short and weedy (at best), with big cute green eyes and softer hair in a perpetually dejected flop about his lone freckles. No scales, no braids, no mildly pointed ears ...
Oh, shit. Look at his leg.
Two hours later in their bedroom, Jack is still failing at not laughing at the angry little figure his husband makes. North said the effects of the magic should wear off over the course of a day, so he isn't worried in the slightest. ]
You're adorable, I really don't see the problem.

The kisses help too.]
Mnh. I guess it's not so bad. [He tilts his head to look at Jack.] You get to see me like this again.
no subject
I wouldn't care if you went the other end of the spectrum and turned fully dragon, I'd still love you. It's nice to be taller again, though.
[ To exhibit how, he rests his chin atop Hiccup's crown. ]
no subject
[It's said dryly but he bumps his head up under Jack's chin, feeling a wave of reassurance rumble through him. The cold doesn't really bother him, since he was with Jack for a time when he was still human, even if it is a little chillier than he was used to.
He's a bit concerned about Jack's suggestion about being turned fully dragon, wondering if that was where his body was heading. There was already so many changes to it, he wouldn't be surprised if that ended up being the truth. For now though, he settles under Jack's chin and crosses his arms over his chest like he's been doing for the last couple of hours, drawing his legs up.]

[ Struck with an idea, he slides his hands underneath Hiccup's thighs and heaves him up into his arms (Hup!), stumbling a little on the floor but ultimately managing to hold him in his arms. If Hiccup were any bigger it would be difficult, but Jack isn't nearly as weak as he looks, wiry arms strong as he spins them in a slow circle. ]
Look what I can do.
no subject
[Hiccup's voice is a shriek as he's picked up, arms flailing about before he clings his hands to his husband's arms until the knuckles are bone white. When he realizes they're spinning in a slow circle instead of the fast one he thought Jack was going to do, he relaxes his grip slightly.]
Warn a guy next time.
no subject
[ He tilts Hiccup's shoulders back against the bedpost, giving him something to lean against as Jack settles in at his front, still holding him up. The perfect angle to start lipping his way over a super smooth jaw, welcoming it back with nibbles. ]
no subject
[It's said with a grumble as he's placed back against the bedposts, pouting but nonetheless tilting his head back to give way to that all too familiar mouth, now a size bigger than what he was used to. Smaller hands grab fistfuls of Jack's hoodie, a noise leaving him in a breathless gasp.]
no subject
It's like you turned bite-size.
[ Proving it with a nip over an earlobe. Easily supporting Hiccup's weight, Jack hefts him to rest on his hips just because he can and settles in comfortably. ]
no subject
Bah, you just like being able to carry me around.
no subject
True. Oh! I know something I definitely have to do while I've got you like this. IIIII'll swim and sail on savage seas -!
[ Don't mind him veering backwards to dance around the room with Hiccup in his arms, singing along in between cracking up with laughter. ]
no subject
You know, I haven't decided how long I'm going to withhold sex when I turn back. I'm thinking two months maybe.
no subject
You won't be able to resist me, we both know it's true.
[ Kneeling his way onto the bed, he dumps Hiccup back on the furs spread there and settles in between his legs to sprawl atop him, playing with floppy auburn hair that has yet to thicken up. ]
I notice you implied after you turn back ...
[ Oh, look at those brows waggle. ]
no subject
I may or may not have implied that.
[It was nice to be the smaller one again after all.]
no subject
[ Sitting on his knees to deftly tug off the sash around Hiccup's waist, he dives under the old green tunic to blow raspberries on Hiccup's stomach in a continued effort to cheer him up, tugging the fabric around his head so he can't be dislodged. Not immediately, anyway. ]
no subject
[Despite the fact that he's been called a terrible liar in the past. Hiccup tilts his head up in an effort to look none too pleased, but all he does is look adorable, especially when he wriggles under the raspberries being blown into his stomach.]
no subject
[ Climbing up, Jack hugs an arm around a naked waist, the tunic crumpled, and leans down to kiss him softly. Blue eyes gaze into green, the hue of the latter the only real thing unchanged about his husband. ]
Then tell me you don't love me.
[ #PROVERBIALGLOVESLAP. ]
no subject
Now you're just being an ass, Frost.
no subject
[ He'll reward Hiccup with many more nibbling kisses if he does, licking a cold wet stripe down his neck. ]
no subject
[Jack somehow manages to bring the truth out of him, always has been able to. Even if Hiccup wanted to he was sure he'd feel guilty about it later. He tilts his head back, hair splaying like a halo under his head as his mate's tongue rolls down his neck, his body giving a half sigh half humph.]
no subject
Anyone would think I'm a chore. [ Bawww. He knows why Hiccup feels so down though, and gives him a fond, thoughtful look after teasing. ] If you're not big and swaggering around by tomorrow afternoon, we'll ask North to do something about this himself, but I really think the yeti have their shit down where snowglobes are concerned. Until then, sweetheart, I promise to be your complete slave.
[ A playful way of giving back Hiccup the control that came with his adulthood. Jack tries. ]
no subject
[It's murmured, but he appreciates Jack's attempt at making him feel better. All his attempts really. Besides, it's only a minor complaint. His expression softens, knowing how much he means to Jack makes him settle. The hands fisted in the blue hoodie come up, trailing along arms and shoulders to loop his arms around Jack's neck.]
Remember when I used to have to be quiet? Because my dad was in the same house or just overhead?
[It's a quiet question, fingers teasing the white locks of hair on his husband's head.]
no subject
[ The force of his smile gentles as he regards Hiccup, the twirling of white strands helping him think. ]
I remember.
[ It wasn't because he'd hear me. Jack gives Hiccup back his hands and slides off the bed to fetch his staff from the wall. Gesturing to him to remain seated, the echo of his staff smacking the floor is echoed by a crackle of ice shooting out to cover everything but the bed in a glittering blue. From this, Jack draws and coaxes parts of an old room into 3D relief as he walks around, from the old desk that used to stand in the left corner with papers fluttering on the above board to the dragon's slab opposite the bed with scorch-marks. Silvery frost-beams rush overhead, imitating the old ceiling and the trapdoor to the roof.
His circling steps stop after a minute or so, facing Hiccup at the bedside surrounded in the ghost of a lost home. ]
I remember it really well.
no subject
Even he couldn't remember the room in that great a detail despite it having been his for most of his young life, Jack's work jogging his memory. He raises his hands to his face when he feels hot tears pricked at his eyes, one of them cupping over his mouth.]
I'd almost forgotten...
no subject
We can't touch it but it'll stick around, otherwise. [ The bed dips as he sits at the astonished boy's side, hands in his lap once the staff is leaned against the four-poster. There's a slight touch to the small of Hiccup's back, gently rubbing there. ] This was where I first felt like I had a home, too.
no subject
I'm glad. I...well, I wanted it to be your home as much as it was mine.
[He shifts to sit back against Jack's arm, tilting his head to sit it on the crook of his shoulder. For a moment, a very brief moment, he almost expects his father to come up the stairs and catch him leaning against nothing.]
This is where it started after all.
