[Should the hugging of his legs be taken as a defensive stance? Is Jack making Hiccup uncomfortable? Sounds paranoid as hell, but he can't help it. There's always that worry at the back of his mind - what if he says something wrong? What if he gets a little too touchy? What if he slips and Hiccup finds out? He doesn't want to screw up (even if the technically already did) and lose his only friend.

That little sound almost starts a new round of laughing, but he manages to keep it in a chuckle, not wanting to make things worse. A hand moves to check out the sandwiches, looking for the one Hiccup likes. Jack made sure of asking the elves for it, those little buggers better have listened.]

Does Hiccup have the hiccups now?

[Some teasing doesn't hurt anybody, right? When he finds the right sandwich, he hands it to his friend, maybe the food can help with that little problem... though part of him doesn't want to fix it. It's cute, really. Hiccuping Hiccup, hehe.]

"Surprisingly"? Why, thank you, Haddock, for that vote of confidence. [He pouts a bit, but it's obvious he's playing around. He knows his spelling isn't the best.] Just so you know, I double checked. Hell, I TRIPLE checked. I wanted to support you, not to embarrass you. [He glances at Hiccup, noticing the shy smile, then looks down, a hand going to rub the back of his neck. Is it time for awkwardness? Oh yay.] I... kinda thought that would be the case, so... yeah. Sorry if it wasn't that colorful in the end.
