[Drunk people and smart things simply don't get along, Hiccup. Be thankful Jack isn't one to drink either. Chuckling, he answers the sarcasm with a wave of his hand.]

Hi there, Captain. Good to see you as graceful as always.

[The idea of watching Ravenclaw students pass out on the hallways of the castle is quite tempting too, but Jack sticks to his plan of staying with Hiccup. His friend didn't say no to his offer, right? Though he didn't say yes either. He's about to ask properly when he notices Hiccup getting red and awkward, and Jack arches an eyebrow. What the hell? He thought they were more comfortable around each other now!

The evil voice in his head provides some mean answers, maybe Hiccup does want to go to the party and check out certain drunk classmates, winkwinknudgenudge? Nah, ridiculous. Jack is thinking too hard about this. Hiccup is a dork, he knows that, and he likes his friend that way. End of the story.]

It was a great game. They didn't have a chance against you.

[He doesn't know much about Quidditch but he can tell as much. And somehow, having this conversation on the floor of the feaking changing room isn't weird at all. In fact, it's kinda... cozy? Or maybe Jack just feels like that whenever he can relax with Hiccup like this. So comfortable that he barely notices when his hand moves to help Hiccup brush off the hay of his hair. He could use a spell, but... he likes this better.]

I almost hexed a Beater when that bludger hit you, though. [He glances down, frowning at the sight of the dark bruise.] Don't you need something for that?
