[Jack doesn't know where his own crown ends up, having fallen off his head when he started undressing. He had only worn it because of what it means to them, but it never stopped feeling heavy on his head, and the current mood only makes it worse. So getting rid of that weight can only fill him with relief.

(He's gonna regret that feeling later too.)

What starts like a walk out of their room quickly becomes stomping, and once he's out of the building, he actually runs, anger and hurt fighting inside his head. This isn't how his honeymoon is supposed to go, damn it. He never stops to look around the island, he just throws the towel on the sand and jumps in the water.

A tropical island was chosen because it's the best place for a honeymoon, and him not having been to the beach in forever is a true statement. But right now, Jack can't help missing the cold of the north, to be able to bury himself in the snow and forget the mess around him like he used to do to avoid his dad.

So instead he stays underwater, letting his body float as he stares at the ring on his hand and tries to convince himself this is only Pitch's fault. He only goes back up for air, and when he sees Hiccup approaching him, he hurries to dive in again, still not ready for... whatever this is.]
