I'm a rough boy around the edges (for
mentors)
[Autumn had come around all too quickly, with the passing of summer. Trees around Hreidunn and Eros began changing their colours, leaves of brown and red and gold strewn about all over the ground wherever you walked, the air turned chilly. Cloud could never complain - despite coming from a mountain range like Nibelheim, autumn was a nice season. And of course, with the season came fairs.
Cloud's farm had been approached by Hreidunn officials with the idea to showcase his chocobos, and while he had been dubious about showing his babies off, they had become pretty popular in the last few years. Personally, he chalked it up to raising and training some for Nima's guard, but he wasn't going to bitch. It got him and another person free entry, which was one of the only reasons why he was here with Angeal. Well, aside from the fact that the other man was the only one of them aside from himself currently free.
There's all manner of people around. Children, adults, officials and so forth. Cloud even thinks he sees a few others of the Maeve's around. Autumn fairs brought everyone out of the woodwork, something that had been true even in Nibelheim, from what he can remember. His boots are covered in dirt and hay from the bales strewn around for ground cover, and he turns his head to address Angeal, cheeks colouring a slight shade of red.]
Thanks...for coming with me and everything.

Angeal's smile is warm and he has throughly enjoyed himself dyeing the fair. Most of it was spent working and fielding questions about the chocobos, but he had expected such going on. The two of them had managed to explore the fair for a couple of hours when the chocobos, tired from a long trip here and spending so much time seeing so many people and spirits, had gone to bed. Angeal had left his elemental in charge of making sure no one had bothered them, And Carlin, while small, was a clever little thing.
"We will have to recuit the others next time, there were so many questions that I'm sure you're going to be getting more orders in." Angeal smiles, dressed casually and with a reducliously large dog stuffed animal under his arm from a lucky win at one of the midway games. He goes to set it on one of the stables shelves on the wall, scooping up his now sleeping elemental- as heavy as the Buster sword, despite how tinyit was- and putting it on top of it for some well deserved shuteye now that they were back.
"Did you have fun?"
